The 2022 Melbourne Cup was the 162nd running of the Melbourne Cup, a prestigious Australian Thoroughbred horse race. The race, run over 3,200 metres, was held on 1 November 2022 at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse. The final field for the race was declared on 29 October 2022. Wikipedia

It is a matter of great joy for me to wish all Indians, living in India and abroad, a very Happy Independence Day! This day has a special significance as it marks the beginning of the 75th year of India’s independence for which ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is being celebrated.
